Between fascinating day trips to the Sierra Nevada mountains and the rich arts scene, your assignment will be filled with memorable adventures on your downtime. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Imaging Professional to advance their expertise in a dynamic Cath Lab Tech role at a progressive STEMI receiving facility. Working here will offer significant professional growth, as you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across five advanced suites, engage in complex procedures, and learn from seasoned leadership—including a Lead Tech who ensures seamless room assignments. Exposure to a broad spectrum of cases, from cardiac and vascular to general IR and neuro interventions, will help you develop new competencies and deepen your clinical skills to further enrich your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
On-call rotation: 1 weeknight per week for inpatient/emergent cases Weekend call: 1 weekend per month (Friday evening-Monday morning), subject to unit needsDesired Experience & Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification, California Fluoro, and BLS required Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab experience Solid background in procedural workflow, conscious and moderate sedation Strong skills with airway management, cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), and balloon pumps Prior work at a STEMI receiving facility strongly preferred Only candidates who meet required certifications—the role will not acceptRCIS or CCT Key Responsibilities:
Assist with an average of 10-22 cases per day, across a diverse array of cardiac and vascular procedures Function as either the scrub or monitoring tech (with additional support staff or lead tech as needed) Maintain clinical excellence, patient safety, and team communication Participate actively in rotating call coverageBenefits and Perks:
