Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist experienced in imaging procedures. This role supports a busy Cath Lab currently operating one lab with plans to expand to two, handling between zero to six cases per day. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in PCIs, peripheral interventions, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters, with additional expertise in balloon pumps and STEMI considered a plus. This position requires
ACLS, ARRT, BLS
certifications, and proficiency with fluoroscopy. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner, Sensis, and Merge is important for smooth documentation and workflow.
Responsibilities:
Scrub for Cath Lab procedures, assisting physicians in a variety of interventional cases Support procedural workflow and help train and mentor new nursing staff in the Cath Lab Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality diagnostic results Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certified Technologist with current ACLS, ARRT, and BLS credentials Experience working in a Cath Lab with exposure to PCI, peripheral diagnostics, and specialized procedures like nephrostomy tubes and IVC filter placements Proficient in fluoroscopy and knowledgeable of balloon pump operation Ability to train staff and communicate effectively with the healthcare team Familiarity with Cerner, Sensis, and Merge systems is highly beneficial
Schedule:
Day shifts on an 8-hour schedule, varying based on experience No on-call responsibilities currently required
