You will need to continuously learn new information and tasks on the job. What you will typically be responsible for: Providing patient care in both a clinic and a hospital setting. Performing EKGs and cardiac stress tests. Setting up wearable cardiac monitors. Educating patients on how to care for and maintain wearable cardiac monitors. Charting patient information. Experience:

One (1) year of full time experience, or its equivalent, in the operation of electrocardiograph machines and related equipment. Substitution for

A certificate of completion of an electrocardiography course issued by an accredited college or vocational school may be substituted for the experience.

Certification Required:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association, or CPR certification issued by the American Red Cross.
