This vital role involves supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures by providing specialized technical assistance, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiac and thoracic surgeries, along with a comprehensive understanding of critical care practices within a hospital setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to life-saving procedures while working in a collaborative and innovative environment committed to excellence in patient care. Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout procedures, providing critical data to the surgical team for real-time decision-making. Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterile techniques to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety during all phases of surgery. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining sterile environments. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or other electronic medical records platforms for data collection and documentation purposes. Ability to perform suturing techniques accurately and efficiently during surgical procedures. Experience working with pediatric patients (pediatrics) is advantageous due to the diverse patient population served.
