1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience to support a high-acuity cardiac and interventional program at a STEMI and stroke receiving center. Details Work in a 4-lab acute care hospital that is a STEMI and stroke receiving center Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiology, structural heart (TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip), EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neurology, and interventional radiology Experience with stroke and IR cases is preferred EP and structural heart experience is not required Charting via Epic (required) 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday On-call required Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday/Holidays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage) Approximately 10-14 on-call shifts per 42-day schedule Floating between specialties within the lab is required Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment Requirements Minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience required
BLS, ACLS, ARRT
(RCIS also accepted), and Fluoroscopy Permit required Active state license required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred Parking is available on-site with fees ranging from $10 to $38 per pay period depending on permit type, with an off-site option at a lower rate Holiday call coverage is required
