Job Description

Training will be in Van Nuys Until clinic becomes full time work schedule will be Mon, Tue and Fri in Van Nuys; Wed & Thursday in Simi Valley ```
Duties:
```
  • Perform echocardiogram procedures on patients according to established protocols and standards. (Stress Echo, Resting Echo, ABI/Arterial and Carotids)
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
  • Position patients correctly and apply gel for optimal imaging.
  • Operate echocardiography equipment to capture images of the heart and surrounding structures.
  • Analyze images and recordings to identify any abnormalities or potential issues.
  • Transfer to PACS system.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document in google sheet log all procedures performed.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues.

Qualifications:
```
  • Must know how to perform all of these (Stress Echo, Resting Echo, ABI/Arterial and Carotids).
  • Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy, particularly related to the cardiovascular system.
  • Proficiency in sonography techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using echocardiography technology.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiology and echocardiography.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
  • Competency in measuring vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Experience or knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
