Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting cardiovascular surgical teams as a CVOR Tech. This contract position calls for a skilled and adaptable individual dedicated to delivering high-quality nursing support within the operating room environment. You'll assist surgeons and circulating staff, help drive optimal patient outcomes, and contribute to a collaborative, efficient surgical team.
Key Qualifications:
Certified and experienced as a CVOR Tech Proven background in nursing, specifically within cardiovascular OR settings Proficient with surgical instrumentation, sterile fields, and procedure protocols Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and hospital protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain a sterile field for cardiovascular operations Assist with equipment preparation, counts, and instrument management Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other operating room personnel Monitor and anticipate needs throughout surgical procedures Handle specimens according to hospital practices Support overall efficiency by adhering to established OR guidelines and safety standards
