1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of cath lab experience for a 16-week contract position at a community hospital setting. Details Single-room cardiac catheterization lab within a community hospital setting Diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures performed Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements Variable hours based on procedural volume and department needs 16-week contract assignment Requirements Minimum of 5 years of recent cardiac catheterization lab experience required Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program Current BLS required; ACLS preferred RCIS certification preferred; ARRT accepted with cardiac catheterization experience Strong knowledge of sterile technique, cardiovascular anatomy, and cardiac procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment State license required if applicable DOB and SSN may be required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms and supplies, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the clinical team throughout procedures Document procedural information accurately and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives Assist with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care as needed
