Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (full-time, variable schedule; specific hours to be discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
Deliver technical support during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures in the cath lab Work collaboratively with physicians, assisting in radiological imaging and acting as scrub assistant, always maintaining strict sterile conditions Operate imaging equipment and monitor procedures from the control room, ensuring accurate documentation and patient tracking Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and post-procedural care Support overall unit cleanliness and organizational standards, including inventory management for complex interventions Complete all required daily, progress, and discharge documentation per department protocols Participate actively in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, identifying and suggesting enhancements Always promote the institution's mission, vision, and core values through professional and courteous service
Desired Qualifications:
Relevant certification and licensure as required Prior cath lab or interventional radiology experience preferred Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operations Excellent communication skills for patient and team education Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement
