Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Make a difference as an integral team member supporting critical patient care as a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic and committed environment for a 17-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend, as well as two weekdays based on unit needs
Qualifications:
Current BLS and ACLS certification required Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential Previous experience in a Cath Lab Tech or Imaging - Cath Lab Tech role highly preferred Clear understanding of invasive cardiac procedures, monitoring, and documentation Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, responding quickly and effectively to emergencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients and collaborate with staff
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment to obtain optimal images Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all phases of cardiac procedures Accurately document patient information and procedural data Monitor equipment performance and adhere to strict infection control protocols Contribute to a positive work environment by offering support during high-acuity situations and sharing knowledge with colleagues Perks of this
