1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience in interventional cardiology, EP, and LAAO closure procedures, including proficiency in scrubbing and circulating. Details 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call required on both weekdays and weekends Possible holiday coverage required Hurricane sign-up required (not guaranteed) Middle adult to geriatric patient population Procedures include diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices (including Watchman/LAAO), and EP Epic EMR experience required Candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a local pay rate Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required Must be able to scrub and circulate Experience in interventional cardiology, EP, and LAAO closures (Watchman) required Skills required: diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and sterile procedure and equipment setup ARRT or RCIS certification required ACLS and BLS certification through AHA or ARC required Epic EMR experience required FL RN or compact license required if applicable Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia / EKG assessment prior to start Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including rotablator, IABP, and closure device implantations such as Watchman Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and sterile procedure and equipment setup A Basic Arrhythmia assessment is required; candidates who do not score 100% on lethal rhythms may be required to retake a dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and must achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted Smoke-free facility Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are accepted
