Summary:
Provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services and interprets images for ultrasound procedures. Assists the cardiologist and gathers cardiac data to inform diagnostic decisions.
Education:
Graduate from an Accredited Radiology Program Education specialization:
Ultrasound Technology Experience:
Six months of related experience in an acute care environment
Credentials:
RCS
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or RDCS
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Certification required within one year of employment) BLS
