1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience, including Stroke, Neuro Intervention, and Cerebral Thrombectomy procedures, for a 13-week contract in the Broward, FL area. Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital Procedures include EP studies, Stroke and Neuro Intervention, Cerebral Thrombectomies, and Embolizations Trauma experience utilized in this role
EMR:
Epic (experience required) 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience required ARRT (Radiographer) certification required ACLS and BLS through AHA required Epic EMR experience required FL RN license or compact license required if applicable All certifications must be current Must successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment; passing criteria include an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% in the lethal rhythm section, and 83% in all other sections Additional Information EP Technologist experience is required for this position Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a lower pay rate than travel candidates Smoke-free facility A study guide and tips for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation portal
