2 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neuro intervention and trauma, for a 13-week contract position. Details Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting Procedures include stroke intervention, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call requirement of approximately 8-10 days every 4 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts per on-call rotation Epic EMR experience required Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are considered Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience Experience with stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations required Trauma experience required Active FL or compact state license required at time of consideration Current ARRT (Radiographer) certification required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required at time of consideration Proficiency with Epic EMR required License required if applicable Additional Information Candidates must provide proof of vaccination status; declinations are not accepted Candidates are required to complete a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment as part of facility requirements for the IR unit If the initial arrhythmia assessment is not fully passed, a retake exam must be completed within 24 hours and passed with an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections A study guide and tips to prepare for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation resources This is a smoke-free facility
