1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for on-call shifts. Details Position is based in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab 4x10-hour day shifts per week On-call is required, averaging 8-9 days per month — approximately 1-2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month Travelers are first to float and may be required to float to sister campuses, all located within 15-20 minutes of each other Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required Current BLS required RCIS certification required; license required if applicable Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Additional Information Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the unit culture — flexibility and being a team player are highly valued Orientation begins on a Friday; candidates must be available on-site for badge/ID setup and should be prepared to secure full-time local housing No block scheduling requests will be considered All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as it will not be approved after an offer is extended Two professional references are required for consideration — one must be within the past year First-time travelers are not explicitly mentioned as eligible or ineligible for this role
