Days 0700-1730
  • hours may vary For Saturdays Sundays and Mondays $10k Sign on Bonus for Eligible Candidates $5k for relocation for Eligible candidates Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.
Adapts procedures to each patient's medical situation, obtaining necessary information for proper interpretation. Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Calculates information accurately. Follows through with all details to ensure a smooth and timely flow of procedures. Documents, completes, and charge procedures to meet quality standards set by the department and hospital. Participates in Performance Improvement projects and proactively initiate process improvement ideas. Keeps supervisor informed and seek assistance from appropriate individuals when confronted with complicated procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care. Communicates abnormal findings to the reading physicians and notify them of procedures to be interpreted. Communicates with patients and family members appropriate to age and understanding. Manages time and equipment effectively and works as a team member to provide the best patient care. Receives instructions and guidance from the supervisors and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be able to function independently with little or no supervision. [Required]
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, perform basic mathematics skills, and speak conversational English. [Required]
  • Must be able to communicate effectively. [Required]
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required]
  • Must be registered in the appropriate modality. [Preferred]
  • Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred. [Preferred]
  • Performance of standard adult echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echocardiogram.

  • Associate's [Required]
Field of Study:
  • Graduate of a
Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Required Work Experience:
  • 2+ experience in adult echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography. [Required]
  • Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred [Preferred]
  • Pediatric proficiency within 1 year of hire [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
