Job Description
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity calls for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Tech to support advanced cardiac and peripheral procedures at a 370-bed hospital with cutting-edge technology in Orange Park, FL. Contract assignment with a respected medical center known for clinical excellence and recognized for top-tier cardiac care and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with a range of cath lab procedures including diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI interventions, stroke management, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostics and interventions. Scrub for left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, STEMI cases, and peripheral procedures while closely monitoring patients. Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment such as GE Innova imaging systems, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra devices. Document procedures accurately using Meditech and MacLab systems. Provide support to prep and recovery areas as needed to ensure smooth workflow. Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts in alignment with hospital staffing.Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification required. Valid ACLS and BLS certifications. Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience preferred; advanced skills in LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures mandatory. Ability to efficiently scrub and monitor during complex cardiac and vascular interventions. Comfortable working with multiple call teams, approximately 15-18 call days per month.Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week. Rotating weekends and holiday coverage.Location Highlights:
