Cardiovascular Technologist HiredFirst Panama, FL Job Details Full-time $29 - $44 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Basic life support Full Job Description This Cardiovascular Technologist position is based in Panama City, FL at a 238-bed acute care hospital that serves as the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, holds Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, and operates the region's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and Pediatric Emergency Room. The facility also offers cardiac, vascular, and interventional services alongside robotic surgery and comprehensive women's services. The role. Working under general supervision within the cardiac catheterization and vascular lab, the Cardiovascular Technologist prepares equipment and patients, then assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The technologist performs highly specialized radiographic procedures to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency across a range of anatomical sites and carries out hemodynamic monitoring throughout cases. Supporting the broader lab team, this role also contributes to patient and family care and assists with patient transport to and from the lab as needed to maintain efficient operations. What we're looking for. Associate degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology 1 year of previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist experience required Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician license required Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 45 days of hire date Schedule.
