Cath Lab Technician - Saint Augustine, FL

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional skilled in Imaging - Cath Lab to provide exceptional care as a Cath Lab Tech. This role is crucial for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results. The position is offered on a contract basis and is available for immediate start.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week 7:00 AM - 6:00

PM Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in Cath Lab Imaging procedures At least one year of relevant Cath Lab Tech experience preferred Current ARRT or RCIS certification (or equivalent, as required) Familiarity with cardiac catheterization lab equipment and best practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid BLS and ACLS certifications

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment within the Cath Lab Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and answering questions Monitor patient status during procedures and report any changes Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards Collaborate with Cath Lab team members to ensure seamless patient care This opportunity is also open to Cath RN or EP Tech professionals with equivalent skills and availability, as both positions are urgently needed on the same schedule.
