Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Make an impact by using your expertise in imaging as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled professional who is ready to deliver high-quality care and support advanced cardiovascular procedures in a collaborative healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with an emphasis on imaging protocols. Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent). Proficient in operating and troubleshooting cath lab imaging equipment. Ability to provide clear imaging for a range of interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. Detail-oriented with the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient care. Monitor and document procedure data accurately. Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care in accordance with established protocols. Prioritize patient comfort and safety while maintaining proper infection control standards. Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuous learning as needed.
