1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with vascular experience for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma acute care hospital requiring weekend and on-call availability. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designation Interventional Radiology unit with 4 procedure rooms — 3 equipped with biplane imaging (3 Siemens, 1 GE) Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations) Daily caseload of 20-30 cases per tech 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Weekend availability required On-call required May float within scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities Cerner EMR used; experience preferred Total facility capacity of 615 staffed beds Requirements Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience with vascular experience required Experience required in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required Active BLS and ARRT certifications required Florida state license required if applicable
