1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 18 months of cardiac cath experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Weston, FL. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 staffed beds Cardiac Cath Lab unit 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call is required for this position Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to three sister facilities (Martin North, Martin South, and Martin Tradition — all within 20 miles) Charting is done in Epic Free parking available in any unrestricted space Requirements Minimum 18 months of experience in cardiac cath lab specialty; 2 years preferred Current AHA BLS and ACLS required RCVT or RCIS certification preferred Experience as a scrub technologist specializing in cath lab procedures Epic EMR experience preferred License required if applicable Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Ceil blue scrubs are required This is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon assignment confirmation All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as RTO requests submitted after the initial offer are unlikely to be approved Block scheduling is not available for this position
