• Summary:

• Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

• Position Description:

• Cardiac Cath Lab Tech The Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures.

Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. + Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants) + Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure + On Call for Emergent Procedures

• Minimum Qualifications (May qualify 1 of 5 ways):
• 1)•Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR •2)•Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR •3)•Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR •4)•3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR •5)•RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education •

Required:

BLS & ACLS

certification (accepted from American Heart Association)
