Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in a dynamic imaging environment as an experienced Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity requires proficiency in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and offers the chance to support advanced cardiovascular care alongside a specialized team.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00am - 5:00pm, 10-hour shifts On-call 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech with comprehensive knowledge of imaging modalities and cardiac catheterization processes Ability to operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment safely and efficiently Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent required BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong attention to detail with commitment to high-quality patient care Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility due to strict travel policy Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status during procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies Maintain and troubleshoot sophisticated imaging and monitoring equipment Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to departmental protocols Support the team in maintaining a sterile and safe laboratory environment Participate in call coverage as scheduled; readiness to respond to emergent cases This position is well-suited for professionals with high standards for patient safety and a collaborative approach.
