Job Description

As an Echo Technician, you will perform diagnostic qualify ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels working closely with the Cardiologists' and their staff. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:
Responding appropriately to "Stats", "ASAP" and "Today" requests for cardiac ultrasound studies. Consistently obtains every view with quantitative landmarks in each view. Operates equipment safely and keeps it in working order, while troubleshooting simple problems. Recognizes and reports life-threatening ultrasound findings. Measures echoes according to protocol. Prepares reports and video for physician review. Complies with time and attendance protocol. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program preferred. Minimum of one-year experience in echocardiography preferred. Registry by the (ARMS) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as an (RDCS-AAE) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or (CCI) Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer - preferred.
