Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment where your expertise as a CVOR Tech makes a tangible impact on patient care and surgical outcomes. This contract opportunity is perfect for those passionate about assisting in cardiovascular operating rooms and delivering exceptional support as part of a skilled surgical team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist program Current certification as a CVOR Technologist (or eligibility) Demonstrated experience working in cardiovascular operating rooms Strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and procedures specific to cardiovascular surgery Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and ensure necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and sterile Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures by providing instruments, maintaining clear fields, and anticipating surgeon needs Monitor and maintain sterile environments throughout procedures Support pre-operative and post-operative duties as assigned Keep accurate inventory of surgical instruments and assist with equipment maintenance and setup Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiology personnel to promote optimal patient outcomes
