Responsibilities Assists physicians during cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology, and other miscellaneous procedures by operating the physiologic / hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients. Qualifications
REQUIRED
1.
Education/Experience:
a. 1 year prior Interventional experience (Cath/Radiology) OR b. 2 years prior diagnostic lab experience (Cath/Radiology) OR c. Associates Degree in a Health Science Program OR d. Completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology with appropriate specialization) 2. Certification a. ARRT OR b. RCIS in lieu of certifications
PREFERRED
1. Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in interventional cardiac cath lab and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
Work Hours:
7a-5:30p and on call
