Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab (Days) Carrollton, GA Allied Health 26-485 mail_outline Get future jobs matching this search Login orRegister Job Description The Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures Technologist assists in the preparation and provision of care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and/or radiographic procedures. He/she is responsible for the operation of radiographic equipment as well as able to provide technical assistance (scrub) to the physician during a procedure. He/she may function as a sub-circulator under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Education Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework Experience One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses & Certifications
  • ACLS Certification
  • Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Qualifications
  • Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire date.
  • Registered by the ARRT, ARCRT, or CCI(RCIS).
