$12,000 AVAILABLE Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency services, including interventional cardiology, critical care, obstetrics, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are a Primary Stroke Center with on-site neurohospitalists. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, we proudly provide subspecialized care from fellowship-trained providers in advanced gastroenterology and medical and surgical oncology as well as colorectal, breast, thoracic, orthopedic and robotic surgery. Responsibilities Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required 1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required Must have and demonstrate a strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Must be able to perform quality Ultrasound examinations in accordance with all Piedmont and ACR standards. Must deliver SAFE care in accordance with the Always Safe program. Must use AIDET with every encounter and be proficient with service recovery. BLS
