Job Description

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBLE FOR
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
None, must become certified by ARDMS or ARRT or CCI within 6-month of employment.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
BLS certified. Registered ARDMS, or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.
