Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a specialized healthcare environment as an experienced CVOR Tech, delivering essential support alongside surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. Your expertise in sterile techniques and cardiovascular equipment will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and achieving positive outcomes in the operating room.
Qualifications:
Certification as a CVOR Technologist (or equivalent surgical technologist credential) Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular operating room technology Solid understanding of aseptic and sterile field protocols Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and devices specific to cardiovascular care Ability to work reliably both independently and as part of a surgical team Compassionate, detail-oriented, and adept at handling fast-paced clinical situations BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for procedures Assist the surgical and nursing teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout all cardiovascular surgeries Handle and manage surgical instruments and equipment Support the team by anticipating surgeon's needs during procedures Maintain accurate documentation relating to procedures, instruments, and patient care Ensure compliance with all facility policies and infection control protocols
