Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech with specialized imaging skills for a dynamic contract opportunity. The position features a structured weekday schedule and meaningful involvement in interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
On-call rotation:
1 day per week and every 4th or 5th weekend Strict 75-mile radius restriction applies
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise as a Cath Lab Tech, including current certification or registry (RCIS preferred) Proven proficiency in imaging procedures within a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting Familiarity with operation of cath lab imaging equipment and strict adherence to safety protocols BLS and ACLS certification required Ability to work seamlessly with interventional cardiologists, nursing staff, and ancillary team members Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment during cardiac and vascular procedures Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional catheterization processes Monitor and document vital patient data in accordance with clinical protocols Ensure a sterile, safe procedural environment and enforce infection control practices Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or procedural changes as part of the call rotation Support patient preparation, education, and post-procedure care
