Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential healthcare role utilizing advanced imaging expertise in a dynamic Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals seeking a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering top-tier cardiac care.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10-hour shifts Call requirement: one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend Strict 75-mile radius requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with strong imaging proficiency Credentialing in Cath Lab Tech procedures and advanced cardiac imaging In-depth knowledge of Cath Lab protocols, safety, and patient comfort measures Adaptability and composure in acute care situations Ability to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff Credentialing and certification current and in good standing
Responsibilities:
Setup, operate, and maintain imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status and assist with patient preparation and recovery in the Cath Lab environment Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and medical protocols Provide accurate imaging results to support physician decision-making Document procedures and maintain comprehensive electronic medical records Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled to ensure seamless service coverage Communicate effectively with cardiology and radiology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Why Apply?
