• Job Summary and Qualifications
• The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team.

In this role:

+ You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis and exercise echo + You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease. + You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. Either exercise stress or pharmacological stress + You will participate in PI activities. + You will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing. + You will assist with other non-invasive cardo diagnostic testing.

• What qualifications you will need:
• + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date + (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
