Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a leading academic health system in northern Illinois. Schedule:
4 x 10-hour shifts Rotating overnight on-call 1-2 nights weekly Rotating weekends and holidays Pay range: $36.99 - $55.49/hour Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 Shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay available Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance PTO and retirement plans Short and long-term disability coverage Paternity leave and adoption assistance Tuition assistance and fully funded career advancement programs Annual wellness reimbursement On-site daycare availability Strong shared governance and employee-focused culture Career growth and advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures Operate radiologic imaging equipment efficiently and safely Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance standards Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment Qualifications Graduate of a two-year Radiologic Technology program required Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license required Current ARRT certification required Current CPR certification required ACLS certification preferred; required within one year of hire if not currently obtained Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills Cath lab experience is NOT required — technologists from general radiology backgrounds are welcome, and full training will be provided to expand skills and transition into cath lab responsibilities if needed Why This Role This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare organization that prioritizes employee development, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.
