10hrJob Summary:
To assist the Cardiologists in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac/vascular and electrophysiologic procedures as well as technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients Take a patient's medical history, explain the procedure, and position the patient and equipment to take the image Operate equipment Use computerized and manual equipment to take images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, fluoroscopy, or sonography Evaluate images Review the images to ensure they are clear enough for a doctor to diagnose Document patient care Record patient medical histories, enter patient data into computers, and maintain patient records C ommunicate with patients and doctors Explain procedures and test results to patients, and inform doctors of patient conditions Protect patients and staff Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, and follow infection control policies Assist with other tasks Help with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and restocking suppliesRequirements:
BLS, ACLS, CCI, RCIS and ARRT R license in state of assignment required. Minimum 2-year(s) exp. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.Work Environment & Demands:
