Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Leverage your expertise as a Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic imaging environment where your skills and precision will help deliver high-quality cardiac care. This contract opportunity offers 3x12s day shifts, allowing for an ideal balance of work and personal life, while contributing to patient outcomes in an advanced clinical setting.
Schedule:
3x12 hour day shifts
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment and perform cardiac catheterization lab procedures in accordance with physician instructions Maintain accurate patient documentation, ensuring all records are complete and compliant Practice strict radiation safety and infection control procedures for patient and staff protection Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to facilitate quality patient care during procedures Monitor patient status throughout diagnostic and interventional processes, responding promptly to changes Prepare and set up specialized equipment and supplies for each case, ensuring proper function and sterility
