As a Cath Lab Tech in this dynamic environment, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in a range of cardiac and vascular procedures, and sharpen your skills in advanced imaging technology. Desired Qualifications:
Active ARRT (Radiography) or RCIS certification. Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. Proficiency with C-arm, fluoroscopy, and other imaging equipment. Knowledge of sterile technique, EKG interpretation, and cardiovascular anatomy. Adaptability for fast-paced, detail-oriented work environments. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities:
Operate imaging systems during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement procedures. Prepare and maintain a sterile field and assist physicians as a scrub or circulator. Monitor patients' vital signs and interpret EKGs throughout procedures. Document imaging and procedural data accurately. Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures. Uphold all safety and infection control standards in the lab.
