And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn't do it without you. Make a Difference The Invasive Cardiovascular Technician assists with cardiac and vascular procedures. Must live within 30 minutes of Community Hospital South for call response requirements. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Deliver safe, compassionate patient care before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular procedures. Prepare, transport, monitor, and recover patients; obtain vitals and assess basic cardiac rhythms. Educate patients and families on procedures, progress, and expectations. Assist physicians during procedures, including sterile setup, catheter/sheath removal, site care, specimen handling, and patient monitoring. Operate clinical, monitoring, and life‑support equipment; perform quality control checks as required. Maintain a clean, well‑stocked procedure room and support efficient room turnover. Accurately document exams, medications, labs, contrast usage, radiation dose, and patient status in
EMR/PACS.
Follow all safety, infection control, radiation protection, and regulatory standards. Participate in on‑call/standby coverage as scheduled. Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and care teams. Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and experience with clinical systems preferred. Team-oriented approach with a commitment to patient-centered care. HS diploma or GED required Two years of patient care experience required Cardiac or previous CVT experience preferred Why Community?
