As an EP Monitor II, you would be responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring and interpretation of electrophysiological data during diagnostic and interventional procedures, which include, but not limited to: EP ablations, EP studies, pacemakers / defibrillator implants, and LAAO procedures. This role supports physicians by identifying arrhythmias, documenting findings, and ensuring patient safety throughout EP lab procedures. Other duties may include but are not limited to: Circulating interventional and diagnostic EP procedures performed Scrubbing interventional and diagnostic EP procedures performed EP Ablations EP Studies Pacemaker / Defibrillator Implants LAAO procedure Maintains flexibility to cover needs at Midtown and Gateway Campuses Regularly assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient/family educational needs so that adequate information is communicated to the patient/family. Provides patient teaching.Required:
Certifications/Licenses/Education Degree from an accredited Nursing Program Must hold an active Indiana Limited Cardiac Catheterization Certificate Must obtain BLS within the first 6 months of hire, and ACLS within 1 year of hire. Must be able to take call shifts with the responsibility of a 60-minute response time.Other Key Words:
