2 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neurovascular IR, at a 449-bed acute care hospital. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with 449 staffed beds Interventional Radiology unit supporting vascular IR, neurovascular IR, body IR, and trauma cases including endografts and stroke thrombectomy Daily caseload of 10-15 cases per tech 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (shifted to 8:00 AM-4:30 PM on call days) Call requirement of 1 day per week, with full weekend call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) every third or fourth weekend Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis No floating requirement Charting via Cerner Requirements Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience required Neurovascular IR experience required; facility is a stroke thrombectomy center Proficiency scrubbing cases and working with wires Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms required Active state license required; pending license accepted if active by start date — license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Additional Information Perform vascular IR procedures including endografts, neurovascular interventions, stroke thrombectomies, trauma cases, and body IR Scrubs are provided by the facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
