Location:

Kansas City, KS area On-call and weekend rotation: Willingness to take call on holidays; about 1 weekend per month Responsibilities Provide scrub and circulating support in CVOR procedures, with emphasis on cardiac surgeries; maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument handling Prepare operative setups, drape patients, assist with positioning, and manage instrument counts; pass instruments and implants as needed Support the surgical team and anesthesia team during procedures, including suctioning, retraction, hemostasis assistance, and equipment management Assist with specimen labeling and documentation; help with room turnover and readiness for subsequent cases Collaborate with staff across OR suites to maintain efficiency and patient safety in a fast-paced cardiovascular program Requirements Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license BLS certification Minimum 2 years CVOR experience in a Level 1 trauma center; prior circulating experience and strong scrub experience in cardiac surgeries Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts (0630-1900 window) as scheduled; willing to take call on holidays, with weekend rotations approximately 1 per month Credentials due one week prior to start Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced perioperative environment Benefits and Support Bi-weekly pay New employee orientation (Mon-Tue) Credentialing support and clear submittal process Dedicated account manager contact for assignment support Nicotine-free facility policy Flexible cancellation policy: up to two shifts per month may be canceled at no cost to the client; traveler would not be paid for those shifts 40-hour work weeks on a 13-week contract with potential for extension Ongoing travel and recruitment support Find more opportunities If you're interested in other openings, please apply or explore additional opportunities at
