Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Take your expertise in imaging and cardiac catheterization to the next level within a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced as Cath Lab Technologists, passionate about providing exceptional care in a fast-paced setting.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or ARRT preferred) Experience performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Proficient in imaging equipment operation and patient monitoring Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety protocols Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and technologists BLS and ACLS certification required Previous contract or hospital-based experience considered a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including setup, operation, and maintenance of imaging and monitoring equipment Monitor patient status throughout the procedure, ensuring comfort and accurate documentation Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control standards Collaborate with the interventional team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Prepare and administer contrast media under supervision, as appropriate Participate in emergency procedures and respond promptly to urgent situations Maintain accurate records, patient charts, and inventory of supplies Why You'll Thrive in
