Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital position supporting patient care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional eager to play an essential role in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Current certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, EKG interpretation, and sterile techniques Proficient in operating imaging equipment and monitoring patient status during procedures Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams BLS and ACLS certifications (active and up-to-date) Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images Monitor patients' condition throughout procedure, reporting any changes to physicians promptly Maintain optimal sterile field and infection control standards at all times Document all aspects of care, equipment usage, and imaging findings thoroughly Prepare room and necessary supplies before procedures and ensure proper post-procedure clean-up Support physicians and fellow healthcare professionals with technical expertise during complex interventions As a valued member of the healthcare team, you'll make a direct impact on patient outcomes while expanding your skills in an advanced clinical setting.
