Week 1: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM) Week 2: Monday-Friday Call Coverage (3:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM) and Saturday/Sunday (7:00 AM
  • 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Weekly Hours (GWH) Only; No On-Call or Call-In Pay Job Summary The Cath Lab Technician assists with preparing patients for cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiology procedures.
Responsibilities include scrubbing procedures, monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures, preparing procedure rooms, and supporting patient care throughout the procedure process. The technician demonstrates clinical competency, professionalism, and a commitment to quality patient care. Responsibilities Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiology procedures. Scrub and assist during procedures. Monitor, record, and document hemodynamic pressures. Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies. Support patient care management and unit operations. Provide health education to patients and families as appropriate. Demonstrate clinical competency and professional development. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, quality patient care. Perform related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting. Current BLS certification.
One of the following certifications:
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) ARRT (VI)
  • Vascular Interventional Radiography RTRCI (Registered Radiologic Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography) Required Skills Patient Preparation Scrubbing Procedures Hemodynamic Pressure Monitoring Clinical Competency Invasive Cardiology Procedures Preferred Skills Knowledge of growth and development principles Health education experience Patient care management Experience supporting invasive cardiology workflow
Pay:
From $65.00 per hour Application Question(s): How many years of Cath Lab experience do you have? Do you have experience scrubbing and assisting during cardiac catheterization procedures? Which credential do you currently hold? (RCIS, ARRT(VI), RTRCI) Is your BLS certification active? Do you require any time off during the contract period? If yes, please specify. Have you worked in an invasive cardiology or Cath Lab setting within the last 12 months? Are you a local or traveler?
