Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Nestled in the scenic Appalachian region, working in Pikeville, KY offers both breathtaking natural beauty and a chance to expand your professional network by collaborating with dedicated healthcare leaders. As a Cath Lab Tech, you'll hone your craft alongside advanced practitioners, leveraging the latest devices and techniques in a fast-paced environment. You'll encounter a broad spectrum of procedures, from diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases to device implants and cross-training opportunities in the EP Lab. Embrace a dynamic schedule that allows plenty of downtime to explore the region's trails, rivers, and vibrant local culture—making every day both professionally and personally rewarding.
Schedule:
Day shift, 4x10-hour: 07:00 - 17:30 Monday-Friday, with one rotating weekday offCall:
8-15 days/month & 1 weekend every three weeks (30-min response for STEMI alerts) Orientation provided bi-weeklyDesired Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Cath Lab ARRT and KY Tech license (candidates willing to apply post-offer welcome; must apply immediately upon acceptance) AHA BLS andAHA ACLS
certifications required Experience in EP procedures preferred; additional training provided Comfortable with table panning, scrubbing, and device/tool assistance (Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, Penumbra, etc.) Flexibility and adaptability for call schedule Valid driver's license (attach to application) Must reside 75+ miles from facility (non-local candidates only)Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of Cath/EP Lab procedures and response to STEMI alerts Support device implants (pacemakers, ICDs) and peripheral interventions Cross-train within EP and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary teamOutstanding Benefits:
