Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced patient care as an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity offers a chance to contribute technical expertise within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to cardiac diagnostics and intervention.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field Current ARRT or RCIS certification required Valid state licensure (if applicable) Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a cath lab setting Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start) Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours; actual shift details provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the catheterization laboratory for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are set up and functioning Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including prepping and monitoring patients Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and other imaging equipment with precision and adherence to safety guidelines Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, charges, and patient data within the electronic medical records system Maintain sterile technique at all times and uphold infection control policies and practices Participate in emergency response procedures as needed Support ongoing quality assurance and equipment maintenance protocols
