Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)

ASAP / Open Job Summary A healthcare facility in Worcester, MA is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diagnostic echocardiography and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to evaluate cardiac structure and function Assist with stress echoes (exercise and pharmacologic) as needed Accurately capture and document diagnostic images for physician interpretation Identify abnormal findings and communicate urgent results to physicians Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during procedures Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical staff to support optimal patient care Required Certifications & Licenses ARDMS (RDCS)- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI (RCS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA Active Massachusetts State License (if applicable/required by facility) Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience Strong experience in: Adult echocardiography Doppler imaging Cardiac anatomy and pathology Experience with stress echo procedures preferred Preferred Qualifications Prior travel experience Experience working in hospital or high-volume cardiology settings Familiarity with EMR systems Additional Details Weekly gross pay: $2,800 Opportunity to work in a reputable facility in Worcester, MA Fast-paced environment with supportive clinical team #
