Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonusamountprorated for Part timehires;per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment. Relocation for Approved Offers Maine Medical Center has Cardiac Sonographer positions available thatprovidegrowthopportunityin many areas of advanced cardiac sonography. We have a dynamic and growing team that is committed to high quality, patient centered careandmaintaininganexcellentenvironment to grow as a sonographer. Our echo lab supports many of our subspecialty cardiology teams such as: TheAdvancedValveClinic CongenitalCardiology VAD TransplantTeam Andcardiac procedures such as:

TAVR,MitraClip,watchmanand more. Responsible for using diagnostic medical equipment toassistwith the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions, whilemaintainingthe highest standards of patient care andproficiencywithappropriate clinicalprotocols. Full Time(40hrs)- Day Shift Weekend Rotation is
Required Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
License/Certifications:
ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Experience:
Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
