Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize specialized skills as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting pre-operative patient care and intraoperative procedures with precision and care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain cardiovascular operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for surgical procedures. Assist surgical teams by anticipating needs during cardiovascular operations. Ensure proper positioning and care of patients before surgery begins. Perform technical duties related to the setup and operation of cardiovascular surgical equipment. Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or in a closely related nursing support role. Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and related equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced surgical settings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour rotating shifts from 06:30 to 17:00. On-call responsibilities every fourth weekend (Friday through Sunday). On-call duty once per week within a six-week rotation.
